Our convent is located in Weert, a city at the center of Limburg. Limburg is the most southern province of the Netherlands. Guest rooms
Our guest house has seven single and seven double rooms. All rooms have a private bathroom. Meals are served in the dining room. During your stay you can use the TV room, library and the cloister garden. You can also join us in the celebrations and prayers in the chapel. There is free wifi available. You are staying in an oasis of rest right in the heart of the city of Weert.
Meals
A delicious meal can be enjoyed in our dining room. With your reservation, please indicate if you want to have breakfast and/or dinner in our convent. We serve a breakfast buffet. In the evening we serve a varied (international in scope) dinner, including fresh ingredients from our garden. We can serve a lunch(buffet) for groups.
Of course you can also book us for a meal without making use of the sleeping accommodation.
Chapel
As a visitor and a guest of our guest house you are very welcome in our chapel during Mass and prayer moments.
Conference room
The conference room is available for receptions and meetings for approximately 50 people. The conference room is equipped with various modern facilities and features, including a beamer. Receptions/groups up to 100 people can also use the adjacent courtyard. For larger groups (100+) the monumental barn and monastery garden are available.
Monastery garden
The cloister garden is suitable for parties, activities and receptions for larger groups.

Travel directions
By public transport
Plan your journey by public transport via 9292.nl/en (English). Abbey Maria Hart is a ten minute walk away from Railway station Weert. When you leave the station, cross the St. Maartenslaan and walk straight into the Stationsstraat. The fifth street on the right is Maasstraat. You can see the abbey gate after one hundred meters on the left.
By car
From Amsterdam/Eindhoven: take the A2 exit 38 (Weert-Noord). At the end of the exit turn right towards Weert (Eindhovensweg). At the two roundabouts that you come across you go straight to Weert/Centrum. After the bridge turn left (Kasteelsingel, Emmasingel). The fifth street on your right is the Maasstraat.1
From Maastricht, take the A2 exit 40 (Kelpen-Oler). At the end of the exit turn left towards Weert (Rijksweg / N280). Continue straight to the center (Roermondseweg, Maaspoort, Maasstraat).
Maasstraat is located in the center and is therefore not accessible to cars. Parking locations close to our convent, the parking Emmasingel, Korenmarkt and garage Walburg Passage (Kromstraat 16, 6001 CX Weert). Our convent is located a few minutes walk from these locations. More parking information can be found on the municipality’s website or prettigparkeren.nl (Dutch).
For guests of our guest house are several parking spaces available within the gates of the abbey. Please inquire for coming, as well as the accessibility of the city for cars. It might happen that the parking spaces are not available due to activities in the monastery.
By plane
Weert is situated 29 kilometers from Eindhoven Airport. Bus 401 brings you to Eindhoven Railway Station. By train you will be in 20 minutes in Weert. For your further directions, see ‘Public transport’.
